The "Homo si teć / Rijeka Run" sports and recreation festival, in addition to trying to motivate citizens to exercise and lead a healthy lifestyle, always tries to look out for those who need help from society and adds a humanitarian touch to its sporting character.

In 2026, by selling festival T-shirts, we are raising funds for Srce za nju, an association whose goal is to raise awareness of the importance and improvement of all forms of assistance and prevention for women suffering from chronic and oncological diseases, to sensitize the public about the importance of support and its contribution to the quality of treatment and the position of patients, and to ensure logistical support and appropriate assistance.

Founded in October 2021, the association began active work in April 2022 with a project of free transportation of women suffering from chronic and oncological diseases from home to the doctor. Through the first and only project of this kind in Croatia, members of the association, respected healthcare professionals and friends of the association transport sick women every day with the association's car.

The Association's activities are intended for all women, especially those of lower incomes whose quality of life is impaired by chronic and oncological diseases.

In just four years of active work, over 80 projects have been carried out for women suffering from chronic and oncological diseases, more than 1,500 free specialist examinations have been provided, one of the largest humanitarian actions to help a woman from Rijeka suffering from cancer has been organized, and €430,000.00 has been collected. As part of the cooperation with the Rijeka Clinical Hospital, the Tumor Clinic has been donated €35,000.00 for better conditions for hospitalization of oncological patients.

After years of dedicated work, the association finally has its own official premises, its own space that now needs to be decorated.

By raising funds during this year's festival, we are helping the association create a warm, functional and accessible environment where sick and healthy women can socialize, educate themselves, receive all the necessary information, as well as support that changes their lives.

During the festival, everyone is invited to participate in the fundraising campaign for the Srce za nju association by purchasing official Homo si teć t-shirts at the sales stand on Korzo and in Sport Vision stores in Rijeka. Sport Vision proudly supports this initiative, because it believes in the importance of a joint contribution to social responsibility through sport and recreation.

The price of the t-shirt is 8 euros, of which 2.5 euros will be allocated for donation.
